Privacy notice

Last updated: 15 July 2026 · Version: v0.1-prelaunch

Plain-English version — these documents are being finalised with professional review. Anything in [square brackets] is pending confirmation. What is written here is honest today.

Who controls your data

The data controller is Ali's World Tours — business registration in progress; full company details will be published here once registration is complete.. Any questions about this notice can be sent to [PLACEHOLDER — contact email].

What we collect

  • The enquiry details you give us — destination, dates, party, preferences and contact details.
  • Account details if you register — name, email, a securely hashed password, and your marketing preference.
  • Cookieless visit statistics — a daily-rotating, one-way hash of your visit, never tied back to you personally. See our cookie notice.

We do not ask for passport details at enquiry stage. Passport or travel-document information, if ever needed, is only collected later and directly for a specific confirmed booking — never as part of a general enquiry.

Our lawful bases

We handle enquiry and booking-related data under contract (to provide the service you asked for) and legitimate interest (to run and improve our business). We only send marketing emails with your specific consent, which you can withdraw at any time from your account or by contacting us.

How long we keep it

[PLACEHOLDER — retention schedule under review]. In the meantime, enquiry and account data is kept while it remains relevant to you or to a live or recent enquiry, and is not kept indefinitely for no reason.

Who we share it with

We share your details with a supplier only where needed to obtain your quote or make your booking — and we always name that supplier to you before you commit to anything. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable export of your personal data, subject to the usual legal exceptions. Use the form below, or write to us using the details on our contact page. We aim to respond within one calendar month.

Complaining to the regulator

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. Our own ICO registration number is [PLACEHOLDER — our ICO registration number], which will be recorded here as soon as it is issued.
